expand 201403 1 Q&A with Pete Shannin - V.P. & GM - OLED Business Group

Q. What can we expect from Acuity Brands in 2014?

A. In April, we will launch the Trilia™, Kindred™, Revel™ and Canvis™ OLED families by Winona® - using the latest advancements in OLED technology. The OLED panels will be available in three correlated color temperature options (3000K, 3500K, and 4000K) with CRI greater than 85 and excellent color rendering quality across all regions of the visible spectrum. This includes rich and warm rendition of reds, as validated by photometric testing and R9 values that surpass incumbent technologies. Several new luminaire designs celebrating the thinness and other exciting OLED form factors will be unveiled at Lightfair 2014 in June.

The beauty of OLED and the designs it inspires continues to impact mainstream architectural lighting. The availability of OLED products from Acuity Brands not only exemplifies this trend, but also leads the way.
